I'm Yurii Korotun — a professional street skateboarder, a World Skate tour competitor for Ukraine, and a certified teacher with a degree in pedagogy. After 19 years on a board and a few hundred kids taught across Europe, I'm bringing all of it to California.

Every lesson is 60 minutes and lessons run every day. Subscription lessons never go to waste: miss a day and you can book them on any dates within 90 days. Boards, helmets and pads are provided if you need them, so there is nothing to buy before your first one.

No. Boards, helmets, knee pads and elbow pads are provided if you need them, so you can turn up with nothing but comfortable clothes and flat shoes. Once you know you enjoy it, a lesson also covers how to choose a board and what to check on it before you buy.
Every lesson is 60 minutes. Your first lesson is $60; after that, private one-on-one coaching is $80 a lesson, or $335 a month for a subscription of 5 lessons. Learning with a friend or sibling is $60 per person a lesson, or $250 per person for the monthly subscription. All prices are in US dollars, and boards, helmets and pads are provided if you need them.

Yes. A first lesson is $60 instead of $80 — the same 60 minutes of one-on-one coaching, at an introductory rate. It is limited to one session per student and only open to people who have not trained with me before, so treat it as a way to find out whether skating is for you rather than as a standing price.
Yes. 5 private lessons bought one at a time come to $400; as a monthly subscription they are $335, so you save $65. Learning with a friend or sibling, 5 lessons are $300 per person one at a time against $250 on the subscription — you save $50.

Yes. Whether you or your kid bring a friend or brothers and sisters learn together, it is one rate: $60 per person a lesson, or $250 per person for a monthly subscription of 5 lessons. Everyone skates in the same lesson with the same coach, which is why it works out below the one-on-one rate.

Both. Every lesson is built around whoever is on the board, whether that is one student or two learning together. Plenty of adults start from zero — it is a much more common way to begin than people expect.
Yes, that is exactly who it is for. The beginner course starts before the board does: choosing and checking equipment, then pushing, turning, stopping and — importantly — how to fall safely. From there it moves on to balance work, skatepark etiquette and the vocabulary, so you can skate with other people without feeling lost.

He also holds a bachelor's degree in pedagogy and is a certified teacher of English and Spanish, with classroom practice across school grades 1 to 11.
English, German, Spanish, Ukrainian and Russian. That matters more than it sounds for a first lesson — being able to explain a trick in someone's own language is usually the difference between them landing it and giving up on it.
