Hi there
My name is Yurii Korotun, I'm 30 yo skateboarder from Ukraine, I discovered skateboarding when I was 6 and completely fell in love with it in 2008.
More than 19 years of full-on skateboarding journey. From 2013 I started to compete and travel around Ukraine and won most a of domestic competitions. Since 2013 I was also supported by many skate shops and brands and took part in a quite a few skate projects with making boards, clothes and organizing skateboarding events, etc.
I'm now bringing all of that to California. If you're in Los Angeles and you want to learn, I teach private and small-group lessons across the city — beginners very much welcome.
My Projects
As a professional athlete, I wanted to do more than just focus on my own success. So I decided to help others while continue my own journey in skateboarding. I coach young skaters, work with schools to promote the sport and culture, and set personal goals for myself.
My love for skateboarding motivates me to share it and make a difference. Seeing the impact of my work through minds and souls of aspiring skaters is a source of pride and fulfillment.
